BJ Bridges

BJ Bridges, age 24, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019, at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, TN.

Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at Faith Baptist Church in Lambert, MS with the family receiving friends prior to the service beginning at 12:00 P.M. The interment service will follow at Lambert Cemetery in Lambert, MS.

BJ was born July 23, 1995 in Clarksdale, MS to Gilbert Bradley Bridges and Amanda Lane Welch Vaughn. He was a truck driver and member of Tocowa Baptist Church near Courtland, MS. BJ was a lover of going fast, when it was driving an automobile or riding a motorcycle. He enjoyed mud riding and going to races. BJ was an all-around lover of the outdoors that had a huge heart for others. He was a lover of many things, but his love for his wife, Becca, mother and entire family was endless.

BJ will be deeply missed by many friends and family that includes his wife, Becca Bridges of Pope, MS; mother, Mandy Vaughn and husband Malcolm of Pope, MS; father, Bert Bridges of Tulsa, OK; brother, Barrett Bridges of Pope, MS; three sisters, Sabrina Estep of Pope, MS, Courtney Vaughn of Batesville, MS, Lacie Vaughn of Pope, MS; maternal grandparents, Daisy Franklin of Pope, MS, Dennis Welch and wife Tammie of Pope, MS.

BJ was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Margaret Welch and Frances Welch; paternal grandparents, Paul and Mary Ruth Bridges formerly of Crowder, MS.
