Betty Lee Hall Robison, age 87, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018, at her home in Batesville, MS. She is the widow of the late John Whitson Robison, Jr.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 20, 2018, at the Batesville Presbyterian Church with interment to follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:30 A.M. Thursday at the church. Wells Funeral Home of Batesville, MS is in charge of arrangements.
Betty Lee was born August 3, 1931 in Oxford, MS to the late Walter Lee and Blanche Elizabeth Hays Hall. She was a homemaker and was very involved in her community. Betty Lee graduated from Sardis High School in 1949 and married her husband, John Whitson Robison, Jr. on October 5, 1952 in Sardis, MS. She attended the University of Mississippi. She was a member of the Batesville Presbyterian Church, past President of the Batesville Women’s Club, and she was also a member of the Sardis Women’s Club. Betty Lee also volunteered her time with the Heflin House Catering Group in Sardis, MS.
Betty Lee’s loving memory will be cherished by her daughter, Cindy Robison Moreland (Chip) of Memphis, TN; two sons, Whit Robison, III (Beth) of Memphis, TN, Lee Robison (Wanda Carol) of Batesville, MS; five grandchildren, Walt Robison, Walker Robison, Meredith Moreland, Hays Moreland and Hallie Robison.
Other than her husband and parents, Betty Lee was preceded in death by her infant son, Robert Hall Robison.
