Betty Jo Brower

Betty Jo Toliver Griffin Brower, age 75, passed away in the early morning hours of Monday, December 16, 2019, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment to follow at Crowder Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends two hours prior to the service.

Betty was born February 15, 1944 to the late Allen Henderson Toliver and Grace Lucille Burk Toliver in Lambert, MS. Betty was a homemaker and caregiver during her lifetime. She enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren and working in her yard.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by 1 sister, Ella Mae Shankle; 5 brothers, Kenneth, Maurice, Dennis, Carlton, and Mike (MT) Toliver; and one grand-daughter.

The family she leaves behind include her loving husband, George Dalton "Sonny" Brower, Jr. of Batesvillle; daughters, Christy "Sissy" Caine (Joey), and Krissy Griffin Austin (Michael) both of Courtland; step-daughters, Bonita Austin, Kim Brower, both of Courtland, and Felicia Willis of Batesville; sons, Michael Wayne Griffin (Chrystal) of Batesville, Joe Griffin (Enid) of Pope; step-son, Rusty Brower of Batesville; brother, Jerone Toliver of Batesville; 12 grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 16 step-great grandchildren.
