Video Memorial TributeMrs. Betty Bowlin, age 66, passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS on May 2, 2017. Services for Betty will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9:00 at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. Interment will follow at Crowder Cemetery. Rev. Larry Kilgore will officiate the service. Betty was born October 9, 1950 to the late Homer Nix and Pauline Hodges Nix in Quitman County, MS. Betty was a homemaker and member of Crowder Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, shopping in her spare time. Betty cherished her children and grandchildren. Those she leaves behind include her husband, Glenn Bowlin of Crowder; son, Jeremy Holloway of Crowder; sister; Barbara Ann Busic of Crowder; brothers, Jack Nix of Olive Branch, Otis Wayne Nix of Memphis, TN., and Bill Nix of Byhalia; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
