Bart Beard

Bart Norsworthy Beard, age 62, passed away Wednesday morning, May 17, 2023 at his home in Sardis, MS. 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, May 19, 2023 at the Sardis United Methodist Church with the interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Sardis, MS. The family will receive friends prior the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. 

Bart was born on July 26, 1960 to the late Roy H. “Skeet” Beard and Agnes Joyce Norsworthy Beard in Memphis, TN. He was a hard-working farmer and a faithful member of the Sardis United Methodist Church. Bart enjoyed being outdoors, whether he was working on his land, fishing, or hunting. Most of all, Bart was a family man and loved spending time with them all.

The loving family he leaves behind includes his wife of 32 years, Pamela Denise Beard of Sardis; two children, Bradi Lynne Beard Kimzey (Tyler) of Batesville, MS, and Bart Tyler Beard of Como, MS; two sisters, Joy Beard Havens (Mike) of Sardis, MS, and Becky Beard (Stephen Ogg) of Hernando, MS; one brother, Hal Beard (Cindy) of Sardis, MS; and one grandchild to be born in August.
