Audrey Franklin Aldridge

Audrey Franklin Aldridge, age 62, passed away Friday, August 9, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford, MS.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at the First Baptist Church, 435 Williams Ave., in Sledge, MS with interment to follow in Longtown Cemetery in Crenshaw, MS. The family will be receiving friends Monday evening, August 12, 2019, fro 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church and also one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Audrey was born Decembver 31, 1956 in Marks, MS to Cary Wayne and Ruth Garnell Sexton Franklin. She was a homemaker that enjoyed keeping her home clean and mowing her lawn on her riding lawnmower. The old saying of, "One man's trash is another man's treasure", was a true statement for her, as Audrey was always looking for the treasures. Most of all, Audrey loved her family, especially spending time with her mother and grandchildren.

Audrey's memory will be held close by her family, which includes her husband, Lonnie Aldridge of Sledge, MS; daughter Kristy Michelle Sanders of Sledge, MS; son, Roger Garon Wright of Senatobia, MS; mother, Ruth Sexton Franklin of Sledge, MS; sister, Thella Matthews of Sledge, MS; brother, Terry Franklin of Sledge, MS; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Audrey was preceded in death by her father, Cary Wayne Franklin.
