Annis Ales Russell, age 83, passed away on, August 6, 2018 at the Oxford Health and Rehab Center in Oxford, MS. Annis was the widow of Gladden Russell.
Annis was born April 2, 1935 to the late Levi Ales and Annis Clyde Carothers Ales in Panola County MS. She was a member of Central Academy Church of Christ. She was well know in Batesville as the former owner of Annis' Flowers.
She is survived by one son, Ken Russell of MS; one brother, Lonnie Alles of Batesville; 2 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Annis was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Wayne Russell.
A memorial service for Annis will be held at a later date, yet to be determined by the family. Wells Funeral Home of Batesville has charge.
