Andrew J. “Jack” Waldo, Jr., age 70, passed away Friday, April 12, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford, MS.
Funeral services will be 4:00 P.M. Sunday, April 14, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment to follow in Elam Cemetery near Coffeeville, MS. The family will be receiving friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 P.M. until service time.
Jack was born August 10, 1948 in Coffeeville, MS to the late Andrew J. Waldo, Sr. and Edna Vashti French Waldo. He was a retired self-employed wholesale auto parts salesman and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tutwiler, MS. Jack enjoyed going to the movies and walking around Wal-Mart visiting with people. Most of all, he loved having family gatherings.
Jack will be missed mostly by his daughter, Schawn Waldo of Batesville, MS; son, Jack Waldo of Nesbit, MS; sister, Annie Cole of Crowder, MS; three grandchildren, Presley Adams, Shay Houston, Shannon Van der Pool and four great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Jack was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Smith, Patricia Coker, Connie Thomas; three brothers, Toby Waldo, Ricky Waldo and Sammy Waldo.
