Click Here to View Video TributeGary Wayne “CAJUN” Hardy, age 60, died Sunday, November 21, 2010 at his home. He was the widower of Glenda Davis Hardy. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Wells Funeral Home Batesville, MS with Dr. Robert Self officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery, Batesville, MS. Gary was born on August 8, 1950 in Batesville, MS to Delain H. and Robbie Campbell Hardy. He graduated from Franklin High School in Franklin, LA in 1968 and went on to Northwest Community College where he graduated in 1970. After that, he entered the University Of Mississippi School Of Pharmacy and from there he graduated in 1974. Gary was a retired owner and pharmacist of Booneville Community Pharmacy in Booneville, MS. He loved Ole Miss football as well as spending quality time with his four grandchildren. Survivors include, his daughter, Jodi Hardy Russell of Batesville, MS; Sister, Judy Hardy Ledbetter of Sardis, MS & 4 Grandchildren: Tori Willis, Noah Willis, Bailey Russell & Eli Russell. Along with his parents and his wife he was preceded in death by his son, Wayne Hamilton Hardy. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Wells Funeral Home. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
