Click Here To View Video Memorial Tribute Shirley Morgan Fortune age 74, died Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Batesville Church of Christ Batesville, MS with Mr. Michael Bates & Mr. John Pigg officiating. Interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park, Batesville, MS. Shirley was born on January 12, 1936 in Sardis, MS to Joe Knox & Veta S. Morgan.  She was a member of Batesville Church of Christ and enjoyed shopping, traveling and reading. Shirley was everyone’s friend.  She was a homemaker and office manager of Fortune Real Estate for 33 years.  Survivers include, her husband, Jimmie R. "Jim" Fortune of Batesville, MS; daughter, Dawn Fortune of Memphis, TN; son, Steve R. Fortune of Cabot, AR; granddaughter; Meri Morgan Fortune of Batesville, MS. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Wells Funeral Home.
