Batesville, MS; Carol Jean Sprabery Lott wife of W. L. Lott, age 71 died Wednesday evening, October 20, 2010 at her home with her family by her side. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Batesville Church of Christ with Michael Bates officiating and Robert Rawson assisting. Interment to follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Friday, October 22, 2010 at Wells Funeral Home. Mrs. Lott was born March 27, 1939 in Choctaw County, MS to the late Leo W. and Lula Inez Pittman Sprabery. She was a homemaker and member of Batesville Church of Christ. Mrs. Lott was also a member of the Batesville Garden Club and was on the first Board of Directors of the Job Corp. She is survived by her husband, W. L. Lott of Batesville, MS; sons, Dr. William Criss Lott (Denise) of Ridgeland, MS; Dennis Edward Lott (Peggy) of Batesville, MS; daughters, Laci Carol Capwell (Ernie) of Batesville, MS; and Tabatha Nunnelley of Batesville, MS: sisters, Lillie Hodges of Gulfport, MS & Tresea Philley (Mike) of Olive Branch, MS; brother, Lamar Sprabery (Ruby) of Batesville, MS; grandchildren; Will Ashford, Chris Lott, Caroline Lott, Turner Lott, Brett Lott, Tyler Lott, Courtney Darby, Taylor Capwell and Shelby Nunnelley. Pallbearers will be Chris Lott, Will Ashford, Turner Lott, Brett Lott, Tyler Lott, Jerry Joiner and Chris Carter. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Fortune and Scott Lauderdale.
