Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Love Joy Methodist Church with interment in Love Joy Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wednesday October 6, 2010 at Wells Funeral Home. Reverend Todd Pittman will be officiating. Mr. Hall was born August 1, 1937 in Lafayette County, MS to the late Walter E. and Lovie May Weeks Hall. Walter was a retired truck driver for Hanson Trucking where he drove for some 20 years and was also a U.S. Air Force Veteran. In his past time, he loved working in his garden. Mr. Hall was a member of Love Joy Methodist Church. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Minyard Hall and is survived by his daughter, Britta Ann Irwin of Wynne, AR; two sons, Charlton Allen Hall of Pope, MS, James Coleman Hall of Courtland, MS; five sisters, Dorothy Hendrix of Batesville, MS, Audrey Simpson of IL, Flora Canton of Batesville, MS, Joan Kiihnl of Enid, MS, Annie Ruth Criswell; one brother, Larry Hall of Batesville, MS. He also leaves behind his nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
