Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Monday, October 4, 2010 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Forrest Memorial Park with full Military Honors. Visitation will be Monday, October 4, from 1:00 PM until service time.  Mr. Robert Rawson and Mr. Michael Bates will be officiating.Mr. Russell was born July 17, 1937 in Oxford, MS to Marvin A. and Faye Lauderdale Russell.  Bobby served honorably in the U.S. Air Force and retired as a Master Sergeant after 20 1/2 years. MSGT Russell served in the Vietnam War while in the Air Force.  After his retirement in the Air Force, he became a correctional officer with the Nevada Department of Coreections for 10 years. Bobby was a member of the Batesville Church of Christ and the Moose Lodge in Reno, NV since 1984.Bobby is survived by two daughters, Julie A. Snider and husband Donald Greer of Weatherford, TX, Katie Simeroth and husband Walter of Carson City, NV;  three sons, Bobby Gene Russell, Jr. anf wife Pam of Calhoun, LA, Van Allen Russell and wife Angie of Oxford, MS, Dino Russell of Destin, FL; mother, Mama Faye Lauderdale Russell of Oxford, MS; two sisters, Bettye Kelly of Sardis, MS, Sue Slaughter and husband Charlie of Sardis, MS; three brothers, Murray Lauderdale and wife Ginger of Bay St. Louis, MS, Jackie Russell and wife Patricia of Clarksdale, MS, Bill Russell and wife  Mary of Oxford, MS. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Marvin A. Russell; three sisters, Kitty DaPartoe, Ann Percy, Clay Framarini; three brothers, Fred Russell, Dugan Russell and Marvin Russell, Jr.
