Mike J. Forbes age 53 died Friday at his residence in Pope. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Shiloh United Methodist Church, Courtland, MS with Rev. Chris Cooksey officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to services at 1:00 P.M. Mike was born on January 3, 1957 to R. J. & Lora Mae Hodo Forbes in Mississippi. He was a member of Tocowa Baptist Church. He is survived by: 3 sons: Jason, Phillip and Jeremy Forbes all of Courtland, MS; 5 sisters: Shirley Forbes Smith of Batesville, MS, Betty Lou Forbes Wilkerson of Batesville, MS, Janice Forbes of Batesville, MS, Brenda Fay Forbes Hawkins of Courtland, MS, and Glenda Kay Forbes Mullins of Courtland, MS; one brother: Herbert Forbes of Batesville, MS; one granddaughter: Heaven Grace Dunn.
