Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Wells Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Pittman officiating. Interment to follow at Forrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5-8:00 PM Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Mr. Heafner was born January 8, 1948 in Batesville, MS to the late, Harry Lee Heafner, Sr. and Irma Rose Ragon Pittman. He was a member of Courtland United Methodist Church and was an auto boby repairman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father, Earnest A. Pittman and son, Chad Richardson. Mr. Heafner is survived by his wife, Diane Richardson Heafner of Courtland, MS; daughters, Jennifer Heafner Sneed of Courtland, MS; & Allison Heafner Hodges of Gulfport, MS; sons, David Scott "Scotty" Heafner of Estill Springs, TN; Eric Heafner of Courtland, MS; & Bryan Heafner of Charleston, MS; sisters, Gail Heafner Meek of Courtland, MS; Debbie Pittman Wigley of Batesville, MS; & Donna Pittman Beard of Senatobia, MS; brothers, Todd Pittman of Courland, MS; Darryl Pittman of Courland, MS; Michael Pittman of Memphis, TN and 10 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tom Walls, Gary Mills, James Weaver, Joey Caine, Leslie "Frog" Shields, Jimmy Carlini, Johnny Fowler, and Curly Fox. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Dalrymple, Eugene Strong, Larry Hall & James Roy Houston.
