Anna J. Woods, 62 years old, of Horn Lake, MS, passed away on Monday morning, August 2, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Desoto Center, Southaven, MS. A memorial service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Lake Forest Baptist Church, 7180 Goodman Road West, Walls, MS; with Rev. Larry Sykes officiating. Mrs. Woods was born July 3, 1948 in Choctaw County, MS to the late Murry & Jean Steadman Whitman Woods. She was a member of Lake Forest Baptist Church and worked for Desoto County Schools Transportation Department. She is survived by her son, Robbie Autry of Walls, MS; daughters, Rhonda Fiorito of Walls, MS; and Kimberly Welzbacher of Germantown, TN; mother, Nell Woods of Ackerman, MS; sisters, Tammy McClure of Southaven, MS; & Gail Rowland of Lake Cormorant, MS; brothers, Ricky Woods of Senatobia, MS; Jackie Woods of Ackerman, MS; & Hamp Woods of Ackerman, MS; 2 step brothers: Brian Whitman of Horn Lake, MS & Jeff Whitman of Toledo, OH and 6 grandchildren.
