James M. "Mack" Bryant, age 67, passed away at his home Friday morning, July 2, 2010.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 4, 2010 at Central Academy Church of Christ, Batesville, MS at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Robert Rawson and Mr. Paul Meacham presiding. Prior to the service there will be a visitation at the church beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Wells Funeral Home on Saturday, July 3, 2010 from 5-8 p.m.
Mack was born April 24, 1943 in Marks, MS to the late James Henry and Annie West Bryant. He served the City of Lambert, MS for 23 and one half years as Cheif of Police. Mack and his wife are members of Central Academy Church of Christ where he was a former deacon.
Mack is survived by his wife, Glinda Louise Berryhill Bryant of Courtland, MS; three daughters, Carrie Bryant Mitchell of Stendal, IN, Tina Bryant Adams of Holcomb, MS, Crystal Bryant McCormick of Courtland, MS; two sisters, Jeanette Bryant Ware of Batesville, MS, Shirley Bryant Moore of Enid, MS; three brothers, James E. Bryant of Marks, MS, David L. Brysnt of Morton, MS, Robert L. Bryant of Batesvile, MS; nine grandchildren and one great-grandson. Besides Mack's parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Henry C. Bryant.
Pallbearers will be John Mitchell, Chris White, Andy Berryhill, Scottie Moore, Jason Moore, Jeff Stark, Mike Ware and Drew Murphy.
