Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Wells Funeral Home with Pastor Barry Warren officiating and Rev. Jim Scruggs assisting. Interment will be 3:00 PM Thursday, July 1. 2010 at Dunklin Memorial Gardens in Kennett, MO. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Wells Funeral Home. Mrs. Bruce was born March 16, 1946 in Haleyville, AL to the late John & Macie McCarley Jones. She retired from Springs Industry in Sardis, MS as a folding machine operator. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Dewayne Bruce; her son, Mark Kevin Bruce; sister, Carolyn Jones; and brother, William Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Bruce Crumpler of Sardis, MS; sons, Todd Bruce of Sardis, MS; and Glenn Bruce of Marks, MS; sister, Pat Colley of Pine Mountain, GA; brother, J. D. Jones of Hackleburg, AL; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Chase Bruce, Kevin Bruce, Keith Crumpler, Brad Toliver, Brian Coker and Joe Reed.
