Funeral  Mass  will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 29, 2010 at St. Jude Catholic Church Baton Rouge, LA. with Father Charlie Landry officating.   Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park, Baton Rouge, LA .  Wells Funeral Home of Batesville, Ms. in charge of arrangements. Bill was born on October 3, 1947 in Baton Rouge, LA to Sara Ann Schilling Birch & William Hollis Birch, Jr. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Batesville, MS. Mr. Birch was a United States Navy Veteran serving his country during the Vietnam War.  He was employed with Dunlap & Kyle Corp. as a Distribution Manager for over 13 years. Survivors Include Wife: Jane Blanchard Birch- Courtland, MS; Daughter: Holly Ann Birch- Kiln, MS; Son: William "Jeff" Birch (Mary)- Prosper, TX; 2 Sisters: Susann Birch Jolissaint- Baton Rouge, LA, Nancy Birch Pevey- Baton Rouge, LA; Brother: Dan Birch- Plano, TX; 4 Grandchildren: William "Blake" Birch, Arica "Ashleigh" Kernaghan, Sara “Grace" Birch & Lauren Holly Birch.Local visitation in Batesville, Ms. will be Thursday 5/27/10 from 6-8 pm at Wells Funeral Home.  Visitation in Baton Rouge, La. will be 9-11 am  5/29/10 Saturday at St. Jude Catholic Church  9150 Highland Road .
