Monday, May 3, 2010 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Forrest Memorial Park. Reverends Roger and Eugene Howell will be officiating the services. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Sunday evening, May 2, 2010 at Wells Funeral Home. Mr. Segars was born August 26, 1936 in Memphis, Tn to the late Rush Knox and Valeria Woods Segars. Knox was a retired welder and farmer. In his pastime, he loved to go fishing and watch football. He was a member of Adonai Church. Mr. Segars is survived by his wife, Patricia Appleton Segars of Batesville, MS; daughter, Kim Segars Ostheimer of Memphis, TN; three sons, Chuck Segars, Kelly Segars, and Jason Segars all of Batesville, MS; sister, Bobbie Stapp of Batesville, MS; three grandchildren, Aleia Segars, Taylor Ostheimer and Chase Ostheimer.
