Randall Lee Collins age 53, died Sunday, April 25, 2010 in Yalobusha County, MS in a motorcycle accident. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Batesville Church of Christ Batesville, MS with Mr. Michael Bates officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Pope, MS. Randall was born on February 20, 1957 in Memphis, TN to Martha Louise Deaton & Russell V. Collins, Jr. He was a retired Street Superintendant for the City of Batesville. He was also a member of the Batesville Church of Christ. Randall was a friend of Bill W. Survivors include: Wife: Jan Pepper Collins-Batesville, MS, 2 Daughters: Katy White- Batesville, MS & Stephanie Anthony- Marks, MS, Son: Joshua Collins- Batesville, MS, Parents: Russell V. & Louise Deaton Collins- Pope, MS, Sister: Brenda Collins Dixon- Pope, MS and 3 Grandchildren. Visitation will be 12:00 pm Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Batesville Church of Christ. The family asks that memorials be sent to the AA Literature Fund or Oxford Recovery Ministries.
