Audrey J. Johnson

Audrey J. Johnson, age 77, passed away Friday morning April 23, 2010 at Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley, MS. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, April 25, 2010 in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Hal Johnson officiating. Interment to follow at Forrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Saturday, April 24, 2010. Mrs. Johnson was born December 31, 1932 in Memphis, TN to the late Martha E. & Audrey B. Warren. She was a member of Courtland Church of Christ and worked as a clerk at Fred's for many years and Panola, Inc. (the girdle factory), but was mainly a homemaker. She was a very giving person and enjoyed the simple things in life. She also liked working in her yard, crossword puzzles and collecting teapots. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James L. "Billy" Daniels and her aunt who raised her, due to the early death of her parents, Beula Holley. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Lynn Miller of Water Valley, MS; son, Michael Ray Daniels of Sardis, MS; 8 grandchildren, Michael P. Daniels, Melissa A. Daniels Cook, Kimberly Hudson Ballard, Brian Hudson, Brad Hudson, D. Carson Harris, Amber Harris White, & Nathan Harris; great grandchildren, Jacob Daniels, Luke Daniels, Hunter Cook, Victoria Hopper, Corey Hopper, Chris Hopper, Madeline Hudson, M. Brianne Harris, Katherine Kesterson, Savannah White & Brian White. Pallbearers will be William White, Nick Cook, Nathan Harris, Michael Daniels, Corey Hopper & Chris Hopper.
