Video Memorial TributeMr. Chester Warren Tapper 89, widower of Margie Bolten Tapper died Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Hospital North MS in Oxford, MS. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Wells Funeral Home with Mr. Hal Johnson & Mr. Will Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Pope, MS. Visitation will be on Saturday, 4/3/10 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 service time at Wells Funeral Home. "Tap" was born on Feb. 28, 1921 in Pope, MS to Willie and Sally Cosby Tapper. He was retired from the MS Dept. Of Transportation. He was a member of the Courtland Church of Christ. Survivors include: Son-Chester Wayne Tapper of Pope, MS; Brother-Elwood Tapper of Southaven, 3 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to Chapel Hill Cemetery Fund.
