Funeral services will be 3:30 pm Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Floyd officiating. Interment to follow in Forrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be 11:00 am until time of service Thursday, March 11, 2010. Mr. Vinson was born March 16, 1936 in Cross Plains, TN to the late Pat & Bessie Birdwell Vinson. He was a member of First Faith Baptist Church and retired from Chromcraft as a supervisor. Mr. Vinson served his country in the United States Army and fought during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Teresa Jean Vinson and son, Harold Nicholson, Jr. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie "Ann" Stacey Vinson of Batesville, MS; daughter, Georgia S. Evans of Batesville, MS; sons, Anthony W. Vinson of Olive Branch, MS; Thomas B. Nicholson of Batesville, MS; and Terry P. Vinson of Shelbyville, TN; sisters, Robbie Vinson Johnson of Nashville, TN; and Beth Vinson Stillwell of Old Hickory, TN; brothers, Jimmy Vinson of Nashville, TN; and Sam Vinson of Lebanon, TN; 15 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
