Kenneth R. Sanders, age 63, of Sardis, MS, husband of Susan Lynn Payne Sanders passed away at Baptist Desoto Memorial Hospital Southaven, Ms. Friday evening, Janaury 15, 2010. Funeral services will be held 1:30 pm Tuesday 1/19/2010 at the First Evangelical Church of 735 Ridge Lake Blvd. Memphis, Tn., with the Reverends Eddie Wren, James Quillen and Barry Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery Sardis, Ms.. Kenneth was born October 30, 1946 in Greenwood, Ms. to Marion Raymond and Evelyn Sue Barrett Sanders. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Memphis, Tn.. Kenneth was a social worker and a busines manager for Sanders Silk Screening of Memphis, Tn.. In 2001 Kenneth graduated from the University of Mississippi Desoto Campus with his degree in education, then be begain his teaching career teaching school at Scraed Heart School in Southaven, Ms.. He is survived his wife Susan Lynn Payne Sanders- Sardis, Ms.; 3 Daughters: Heather Lynne Davis- Memphis, Tn., Ladye Joanna Sanders Lemmon- Collierville, Tn. and Margaret Elisabeth Sanders- Memphis, Tn.; Son: John Baskin Sanders- Oxford, Ms.; Brother: Charles Robert Sanders- Memphis, Tn. and One Grandson: Thomas Lemmon. Preceded in death was his parents and a brother Thomas Alfred Sanders. Visitation will be held Tuesday 1/19/2010 at the Chapel of the First Evangelical Church in Memphis, Tn. from 12:00 pm to service time at 1:30 pm. Memorials may be made to the Kenneth R. Sanders Memorial Fund in care of the First Security Bank 201 South Main Street Sardis, Ms. 38666.
