Monday, January 11, 2010 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with her brother Reverend James Nolan Darby officiating. Interment will follow in Center Hill Cemetery Courtland, Ms.. Visitation will begin at 10:00 O'Clock A.M. Monday until service time.Melissa was born January 5, 1962 in Batesville, Ms. to Jesse Philip and Jessie Vee Stafford Darby, Sr..  She was a member of the Tocowa Baptist Church.  Melissa was a school bus driver for the South Panola School District.Survivors include: 3 Sons: Michael Jason Forbes- Courtland, Ms.; Daniel Phillip Forbes- Courtland, Ms.; Jeremy Wayne Forbes- Courtland, Ms.                          9 Sisters: Sandra Darby Wood- Walnut, Ms.; Linda Darby Mills- Courtland, Ms.; Susan Darby Cook- Courtland, Ms.; Reba Darby Polson- Batesville, Ms.; Nancy Darby Ginn- Batesville, Ms.; Helen Darby Pitcock- Batesville, Ms.; Tina Darby Woodard- Batesville, Ms.; Kathy Darby Tribble- Sardis, Ms.; Betty Darby Perry- Sardis, Ms.                          3 Brothers: Jesse Phillip Darby, Jr.- Courtland, Ms.;  Reverend James Nolan Darby- Courtland, Ms.; Robert Casey Darby- Batesville, Ms.                          Aunt: Merle Darby- Courtland, Ms.One Granddaughter: Heaven Grace DunnMelissa is preceeded in death by: Jesse Philip and Jessie Vee Stafford Darby Sr.; Jo Darby and William Oliver "Bill" Darby.Donations may be made to: Robert Casey Darby 1431 Sullivant Road Batesville, Ms.  38606 or Memorials to the Center Hill Cemetery Fund c/o of Joe Sanders 5539 Hwy 35 South Batesville, Ms. 38606. .
