Daniel of 1083 James Crouch Road Courtland, Ms., died Thursday morning 1/7/2010 in Grenada, MS. Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Richard Mills officiating. Interment will be at Forrest Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00-2:00 pm Saturday prior to the service. Mr. Daniel was born April 3, 1928 in Tishomingo County, MS to the late Samuel Vester and Minnie Pearl Millsap Daniel. He was of the Baptist faith and was retired from the U. S. Army having served 20 years. Mr. Daniel received a Purle Heart during his military service. He was also a maintenance worker. Survivors include his wife, Geneva S. Daniel of Courtland, MS; sons, Robert Samuel Lee Daniel of Longview, TX; Jimmy Howard of Coldwater, MS; daughers, Jennifer D. Stanton of Kilgore, TX; Teresa H. McCarver of Senatobia, MS; & Sherry A. Graham of Independence, MS; sisters, Sarah Ford of Coldwater, MS and Betty Brown of Grenada, MS; and 13 Grandchildren.
