Hunt age 79 of 1145 Bell Road Pope, Ms., died Monday evening 9/21/09 at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North Mississippi, Oxford, Ms.. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday 9/24/2009 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Paul Middleton officiating.  Interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park with full military honors.Mr. Hunt was born March 31, 1930 in Oakland, Ms. to  Fred S. and  Vannie McCullar Hunt.  Ben was retired military with the U.S. Army and retired ROTC Instructor with the Memphis City Schools from 1968 to 1990.  Also he was a Veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War.Survivors include his wife of 59 Years Sally Harmon Hunt- Batesville, Ms.; Daughter: Bennita A. Hunt Saba- Batesville, Ms. and Son-In-Law: Louis Saba- Batesville, Ms.; Son: Guary L. Hunt- Batesville, Ms.; Sister: Kate Hunt Butler- Memphis, Tn.; Brother: Hugh R. Hunt- Water Valley, Ms.; Grandson: Robert Saba- Batesville, Ms..Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Wednesday 9/23/09 at Wells Funeral Home.
