David Michael Helms

David Michael Helms, age 54, passed away at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. on April 1, 2017.  A memorial service for Mr. Helms will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS with visitation beginning at 2:00. David was born July 1, 1962 to Edward Earl Helms and the late Emma Lou Graham. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a truck driver for Schneider Transportation. In his spare time he enjoyed riding motorcycles. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Helms of Robinsonville, MS, his son; David Michael Helms, II. of Great Falls, MT. 2 sisters; Regina Walters of Folkston, GA. and Lori Ginn of Martin, GA.,  3 brothers; Billy Joe Gee and Joel Vincent Jackson both of Batesville, and Roy Matthew Garner of Robinsonville, his father Edward Earl Helms (Nancy) of Martin, GA., and 5 Grandchildren.
