Jodie Mae Owens Tutor

Jodie Mae Owens Tutor, age 68, passed away in the early morning hours of March 27, 2017 at her home in Enid. She is the wife of James R. Tutor. Funeral services for Mrs. Tutor will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Enid. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 at the Church. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Jodie was born June 27, 1948 to the late William Curtis Owens and Dorothea Green Owens in Mt. Bayou, MS. She was a homemaker during her lifetime and a faithful member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Jodie enjoyed nature. She found joy in feeding the birds and watching the deer and squirrels play. She liked to read and play scrabble with her husband James. Survivors include her husband James R. Tutor of Enid, one son, James Reid Tutor, Jr. of Oakland, one sister, Thelma Faye Owens Turner of Toccopola, grandchildren, Alex and Armando Tutor.
