Video Memorial TributeGennie Mack Little, age 85, passed away Wednesday morning, March 15, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital of north MS in Oxford, MS.Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 17, 2017 in the Martin Willingham Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment to follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery at Pope, MS. The family will be receiving friends beginning at 12 noon Friday until service time. The Reverends Mike Dutton and Aaron Dutton will be officiating the service.Mack was born February 16, 1932 in Quitman County, MS to the late Clifton and Nina Gill Little. He was a member of Goodway United Pentecostal Church and carpenter during his working years.Mack memory will live on through his wife, Mary Alexander Little of Crowder, MS; four daughters, Judy Green (Bubba) of Byhalia, MS, Kaye Cook (Ricky) of Courtland, MS, Sheila Cosby (Bobby) of Courtland, MS, Dottie Shafer of Banner, MS; son, Jimmy Little (Hope) of Courtland, MS; step-son, Michael Taylor of Crowder, MS; two sisters, Cheryl Bailey of Gulfport, MS, Dot Frazier of Oxford, MS; brother, Phil Little of Pontotoc, MS; ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.Besides Mack's parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Taylor and two grandsons, Ricky Taylor, Jr. and Jeremy Cook.
