Video Memorial TributeCarrie R. Groves, age 58, formerly of Oxford, MS, passed away Sunday evening, March 12, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS.Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Thursday, March 16, 2017 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment to follow in North Oxford Baptist Church Cemetery in Oxford, MS. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service.Carrie was born April 3, 1958 in Sioux City, IA to the late Boyd Elvin and Robbie M. Perkins Groves. She was a Registered Nurse for thirty-four years and a member of North Oxford Baptist Church. When Carrie wasn't working, she loved traveling and taking care of her beloved animals, but it was her job that she enjoyed the most. Carrie leaves behind her only brother, Danny Groves of Duck Hill, MS to cherish her loving spirit.
