Hubbard Edward Bass, Jr. age 85, passed away at his home in Southaven MS. on March 4, 2017. Graveside service for Mr. Bass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville MS. Reverend Sam Burton, II will officiate. Wells Funeral Home has charge. Ed was born November 11, 1931 to the late Hubbard Edward Bass and Hazel Bingham in Corinth, MS. He was a loan officer during his lifetime and of the Methodist Faith. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and anything Ole Miss. Ed held a special admiration for Archie Manning. Survivors include his 3 daughters; Tammy Bass Wallis of Batesville, Beverly Bass Clark of Pope, and Sheila Faye Darby of Southaven, sisters; Jean Towles of Batesville and Sunny Coffey of Oxford, 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
