Richard E. Daugherty

Richard Daugherty, age 71, passed away on February 7, 2017 at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, TN.  Funeral services for Mr. Daugherty will be held Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with visitation beginning at 2:00 prior to the service. Interment will be held at Crowder Cemetery. Richard was born June 23, 1945 to the late H.E. Daugherty and Dorothy Walters Daugherty in Yalobusha County, MS. Richard was a farmer during his lifetime. He attended Blue Lake Baptist Church and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hinchcliff MS. Survivors include his sister, Dena Daugherty Franks of Courtland, MS and 2 brothers; Hiram E. Daugherty of Marks, and Jesse F. Daugherty of Lambert, MS.
