Billie Marie Waldrip

Video Memorial TributeBillie M. Waldrip, age 79, passed away early Tuesday morning at Merit Health Hospital in Batesville, MS. Billie is the widow of Bobby Quay Waldrip. Funeral services for Ms. Waldrip will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Hebron Baptist Cemetery. Mr. Hal Johnson will officiate.Billie was born July 8, 1937 to the late Roosevelt Matthews and Trever Brinkley Matthews in Sardis, MS. Billie worked as a factory worker during her lifetime and eventually retired from the industry. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. Those she leaves behind to cherish her loving memory include her son, Mike Waldrip and wife Liz of Sardis, her sister; Gracie Matthews Rogers of Sardis, and 2 grandchildren, Bobby Waldrip and Ethan Waldrip both of Sardis.
