Video Memorial TributeBilly Joe Alred, age 71, passed away Saturday evening, February 4, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN.Funeral services for Mr. Alred will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Terza United Methodist Church with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the church. The family will also receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 Wednesday evening at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville.  Interment will follow the service at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville. Billy was born January 1, 1946 to the late Elvin Thomas Alred, Sr., and Josephine Still Alred in Sardis, MS. Billy was the owner of Alright Bail Bonds and a member of Terza United Methodist Church. Billy loved the outdoors. During his spare time, he enjoyed 4-wheeler riding, hunting, fishing and boating. Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Jane Alred of Sardis, his children, Shelley Reed and Mark Alred, both of Sardis, and 3 grandchildren; Mark Alred, II., Sadie Reed and Coats Reed, 3 sisters; Janie Cain, Sue Morris, and Teresa Lott all of Batesville, and 3 brothers; Elvin Thomas Alred, Jr., Harold Alred, and Johnny Alred all of Batesville.
