Harold Albert "Dave" Davis

Harold Albert "Dave" Davis passed away January 24, 2017 at his home in Sardis, MS. The family will hold a visitation from 11:00 to 1:00 on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Sunset Cemetery in Columbus Ohio.   Dave was born in Ohio to the late Harold Albert Davis and Mary Shuter Davis. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp., where he served as a bulk fuel man for 20 plus years. He continued to work in bulk fuel until retirement. Dave leaves behind 3 children; Chris Davis (Nikki) of Roseboro, N.C., and Doug Davis of Miamisburg, OH., and Lisa Robertson of Sardis,  grandchildren; Lorin Saenz (Rizihery) of Roseborough N.C., and Ashley Lamb of Columbus, OH., Derek Roberson Jr., John Roberson, Chaz Skaggs, and Cayla Roberson all of Sardis, great grandchildren; Brayden Davis and Aryielle Lamb of Columbus, OH., Raven Hudson, Makenzi Roberson, Tyler McCullar and Jacob Roberson all of Batesville, and Braylen Roberson of Sardis,  and one sister, Karen Johnson of Dundee, FL. In addition to his parents, Dave is preceded in death by his wife Linda Carol Davis.
