David Ludurl Daugherty

(Click above to view Video Memorial Tribute) David Ludurl Daugherty, age 74, passed away at his home in Batesville, Ms. Saturday August 8, 2009. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday August 11, 2009 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, Ms. Reverend Charles Locke will be officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Monday August 10, 2009 at Wells Funeral Home. Mr. Daugherty was born May 21, 1935 in Calhoun County, Ms. to Vessie Lee and Ester Maybell Shepherd Daugherty. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and member of Courtland Baptist Church. Mr. daugherty was also a U.S Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Marcia F. Daugherty of Batesville, Ms.; two sons, David Wayne Daugherty and Bobby Ludurl Daugherty both of Batesville, Ms.; two brothers, Jessie Edward Daugherty of Courtland, Ms., Jimmy Fred Daugherty of Sardis, Ms. He also leaves behind two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
