Sylvia J. Gordon-Leidy

Sylvia J. Gordon-Leidy, age 74, passed away Tuesday morning, November 22, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford, MS.The family will hold a celebration of life for Sylvia at a  later date in Tyler, TX. Sylvia was born January 30, 1942 in Houston, TX. to the late Louis Justin Hassell and Gladys Marie Davenport Hassell. During her lifetime, Sylvia worked for over 22 years as a specialist with the American Arabian Horse Association in Colorado. She was a beautiful graceful lady who always believed in keeping herself put together. She was an avid reader. Survivors include her husband, Ross Leidy of Senatobia, her daughter, Kelly Carter of Houston, TX. her son Kevin Ehrlich, step daughter, Marsha L. Case of Val Paraiso, FL., and her sister; Shirley Henry (Bobby) of Tyler, TX. In addition to her parents, Sylvia is preceded in death by one step son, Karl R. Leidy.Wells Funeral Home has charge.
