Falcom Douglas Helms

Falcom Douglas Helms, age 74, passed away Sunday afternoon, November 20, 2016 at Diversicare Nursing Home in Batesville, MS.The family will hold a graveside service for Mr. Helms at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Pope, MS. Reverend Tim Ellis will officiate the service. Falcom was born December 20, 1941 to the late Carson L. Helms and Alieen Rowsey Helms in Panola County, MS.  During his lifetime, Falcom enjoyed singing and riding his bicycle. Survivors include his sister, Janice Helms Wardlaw of Batesville MS., and brothers; Edward Earl Helms of Lavonia, GA., Ron Helms of Courtland, MS., and James Wells of Sardis, MS.
