Clayton Harvey "Perk" Perkins

Clayton Harvey "Perk" Perkins, age 84, passed away Wednesday morning, November 9, 2016, at his home near Sardis, MS.The family will hold a graveside service for Mr. Perkins at 2:30 on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home. Clayton was born May 3, 1932 to the late Clifton Perkins and Elsie Lewis Perkins in Sardis, MS. Perk retired from the MS Department of Transportation in Batesville where he worked for many years in the maintenance department. Those he leaves behind to cherish his loving memory include his wife, Heloise Miller Perkins of Sardis, his children; Tina Perkins Page (Dale) of Batesville, Ronald C. Perkins (Sheila) of Batesville, and Donald R. Perkins (Kim) of Senatobia, his brother; Preston Perkins of Memphis, TN, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
