James was born on January 7, 1941 in Curtis, MS to Jimmie Eunice and Vivian Geneva Mayes Williams. He was retired from Lawrence Brothers Decorating Center and also Parker Hannifin Company in Batesville, MS. Mr. Williams served his country in the United States Army. James enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include: Son: Larry Keith Williams of Courtland, MS Sister: Nancy "Sis" Williams Carlisle of Batesville, MS 4 Brothers: Leonard Roy Williams of Rio Oso, CA, Marlo Coy Williams of Loyalton, CA, Sammy Dean Williams of Loyalton, CA, Billy Newton Williams of Sardis, MS. Grandson: Levi Gordon Williams of Courtland, MS Visitation will be 5-8 PM Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Wells Funeral Home.
