Linda Harris

Linda Harris, age 65, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 in Greenville, MS. Funeral services for Linda will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.  Interment will follow at Forrest Memorial Park. Linda was born April 12, 1951, one of 12 children, to the late James Richard Harris and Lennie May Alich Harris in Mathiston, MS. Those she leaves behind are those she cherished most, her family. Children; Terry Lynn Crews of Tupelo, MS, and James Eugene Crews, Jr. (Amy) of Greenville, MS., sisters; Hazel Hawkins, Lovie Carter, Doris Clark, Betty Beliew, brothers; Melvin Harris, R.L. Harris, Carrol Harris, Jimmy Harris, and Milton Harris, grandchildren; Christian Crews, Gunner Smith, Justice Smith, Jada Chevalier, Fredrick Chevalier and 2 great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by 2 siblings, Faye Tennant and Larry Harris.
