Granville Wayne Melton, age 78, passed away Saturday morning, October 15, 2016, at Tallahatchie General Hospital in Charleston, MS.Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 17, 2016 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church near Enid, MS. The family will be receiving friends beginning at 10:00 A.M. Monday morning prior to the service at the church. The interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.Wayne was born October 7, 1938 to the late Edward and Elizabeth Hardin Melton. He was a retired factory worker.Wayne is survived by his wife, Jeanette Arcutt Melton of Enid, MS; two daughters, Lisa Marie Sparks of Pope, MS, Julie Irene Alvarez of Enid, MS; son, Clifton K. Melton of Enid, MS; sister, Mattie Melton Bland of Batesville, MS.
