Kenneth Bagwell

Kenneth Wray "Ken" Bagwell, age 67, of Hernando passed away October 5, 2016 in Tunica, MS.  Wells Funeral Home of Batesville MS has charge of arrangements. Ken was born May 31, 1949 to the late Kenneth Bagwell and Lallie Wray Bagwell in Winona, MS. Ken was a physics teacher his entire life. He loved his profession. Ken coached football in Drew, MS., and girls basketball in Helena AR., Ken taught physics at Drew High School, Pascagoula High School, and  MS Gulf Coast Community College - Jefferson Davis Campus before retirement. Ken was an avid Ole Miss Football fan.  Those left behind to cherish his loving memory include his daughters; Brittany Anne Heathscott (Jason) of Hernando, MS., Lauren Elizabeth Bloodsworth of Gulfport, MS., his niece; Tere Johnson of Kuttawa, KY., one sister; Kay Eastland of Dodsville, MS., and 3 grandchildren; Austin James Wilson of Batesville, Elias Noah Heathscott of Hernando, and Maci Grace Bloodsworth of Gulfport. The family will hold a private memorial service for Ken at a later date.
