Barbara Zangwill Blair, age 79, widow of Bobby Joe Blair, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the Memphis Jewish Home in Cordova, TN.
There will be a graveside service for Mrs. Blair held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS.
Barbara was born June 11, 1937 to the late Sol Zangwill and Sally Zangwill in Memphis, TN. She was an administrative assistant for the Shelby County Board of Education. Barbara and her husband were always involved in the City of Memphis, from the University, to the Zoo and Museums. Barbara was an animal lover. She enjoyed lunch dates with friends and was a champ at Movie Trivia. Of all the hobbies Barbara's beloved husband was the finest hobby of all.
Those left to cherish her loving memory include her sister-in-law, Beverly Blair-Hill of Memphis, her brother-in-law, Gary Blair of Batesville, 2 cousins, Rima Block Duvall of Memphis, and Sylvia Weinberg of Marietta, GA, and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
The family ask in lieu of flowers that memorials in Barbara's name be made to the Alzheimer's Association at 713 S. Mendenhall Rd., Memphis, TN 38117.
