Darrell Lee Cook

Darrell Lee Cook, age 81, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016, at his home in Batesville, MS. The family will be gathering at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Wells Funeral Home followed by a memorial service for Mr. Cook at 2:00 p.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville. Born January 22, 1395 in Massillon, Ohio to the late John Henry Cook and Rose Anna Elener Cook, Darrell was one of five children. He proudly served his country in the Army. Darrell was a retired Production Supervisor for Parker Hannifin. He was a communicant of St. Mary Catholic Church in Batesville. Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory include his daughter; Karen Cook Jones (Dekki)of Batesville, sons; Richard W. Cook of Batesville, and Eric D. Cook of Kimberly, AL, one sister; June Schill of Ohio, Grandchildren; Kelsey Cook, Tabitha Cook, Carson Cook, Hunter Cagle, Reagon Lofton, Callie Jones and Jessica Davis. In addition to his parents, Darrell Lee was preceded in death by 3 siblings; Janis Schill, Kay Montagner, and Paul R. Manely.
