Jerry L. Trusty

Jerry L. Trusty, age 65, passed away Sunday Morning, September 4, 2016 at Quitman County Health and Rehabilitation in Marks, MS. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 7, 2016 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment to follow in Longtown Cemetery near Crenshaw, MS. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Wells Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Jerry was born January 25, 1951 in Calhoun City, MS to the late James Gaston and Maudie Moore Trusty. He worked for the Mississippi Department of Corrections as the Assitant Director of the C.W.C. in Quitman County. When Jerry wasn't working, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. During football season, you could find him in front of his T.V. watching Ole Miss Football. Most of all, he loved spending time with his fmaily and friends. Jerry is survived by his wife, Linda Hood Trusty of Lambert, MS; daughter, Michelle Trusty Anthony of Water Valley, MS, son, Tyler Benjamin Trusty of Hernando, MS; sister, Romedelle Taylor of Water Valley, MS; brother, James Moore Trusty of Foley, AL; and three grandchildren.
