October 13, 1946 — August 1, 2016

Bobby Gene Cook, age 69, passed away Monday morning, August 1, 2016, in Batesville following an automobile accident. Funeral services for Mr. Cook will be held in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 2016 with visitation beginning at 1:00 prior to the service. Interment will follow at Forrest Memorial Park. Rev. Raymond Aven will officiate. Bobby was born October 13, 1946 in Tate County, MS to the late Harold W. Cook and Myrtle Medlin Cook. Bobby was a farmer during his lifetime and a member of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed working in his garden, fishing and playing with this grandkids in his spare time. Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Rhonda Cook Sanders of Batesville, and Donna Jean Cook Aven of Batesville, his sister, Linda Cook Bryant of Marks, and his brother Larry Cook of Batesville, and 2 grandchildren, Adam Cook and Kaylan Aven. Bobby is preceded in death by his wife, Edna Faye Teague Cook and a grandson, Wesley Earl Aven.
