Wally Sam Pang

Wally Pang, age 74, passed away at his home in Batesville, MS July 19, 2016. Funeral services for Mr. Pang will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Marks Cemetery. Wally was born August 4, 1941 to the late Linn Yee Pang and Stella Rose Sue Pang in Marks, MS. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era. Wally was the owner of Wally's Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant and a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church. Wally enjoyed many things in life. He loved Ole Miss Football. Fishing was one of his favorite activities along with gardening, painting, and Politics. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Mabel Pang of Batesville, his daughter, Colleen Pang Montgomery (Chase) of Batesville, his two sons; TSgt. Michael Pang of Navarre FL, and Dr. Walter Pang of Jackson, MS, his sister, Josephine Pang Lowe (Jimmy) of Dallas, TX, two brothers; Raymond Pang of Houston, TX, and Teford Pang (Stacy) of Marks, MS, and one grandchild, Caroline Montgomery.
